Devolo Home Plugs

[link to this post]

Hi, I'd been using the 85Mbps wireless starter kit (http://www.devolo.co.uk/consumer/9_dlan-wireless-extender_starter-kit_product-presentation_1.html?l=en) which always was at the edage of keeping a connection over the mains. Now, it's not holding a connection between the plugs. I cheked it with the input and output plugs closer togather and it was fine so the kit is still OK.

I was wondering if this might offer a stronger signal over the mains house electrical wiring (http://www.devolo.co.uk/consumer/4_dlan-200-av-wireless-g_starter-kit_product-presentation_1.html?l=en).

Hoping someone can help before I spend any hard earned :-=)

Thanks to everyone for looking

hello,

I had the 85mbps ones and they started to play up after about a year. I have the 200mbps ones now and they are working fine after 5 months of being on 24/7.

If you need replacements, I've gotthese and for £35 (they were £30!) are spot on.

I also had the 85m ones, which started to play up after about 2 years. Using the 200m ones now. These have not been a problem yet.

Also had another brand of 11m ones for my dad, these went after about 2 years, again I replaced these with another set of 11m ones and all was ok again.
