ethernet to adsl conversion

bought a ADSLl 2+ wireless 300Mbps modem router in a hurry.
it has an ADSL input & 4 LAN 10/100 outputs.
The thing is I have and ethernet connection so i have to find a way to match the ethernet cable with the ADSL input.
the only thing thats comes to my mind is an ETHERNET TO ADSL CONVERTER.
Can some1 tell me where can such a thing be found or to give me some technical advices?

You won't be able to convert the ethernet (presumably from a cable connection) to ADSL (well technically it could be done but there are no consumer devices for this). It is not just a socket problem but the protocols and everything are totally different between ethernet and ADSL and all consumer devices are designed to effectively go from ADSL to ethernet, not vice versa.

By far your cheapest solution will be to get rid of the router and buy the right router.

as long as technically could be done why should I care if there's for sale or not?
who do u think that will buy my adsl modem router in a country that has a better & cheaper ethernet services than ADSL one?
anyway if u wanna help a little maybe u'll tell me the name of those ADSL 2 pins and the way it's signal looks on the osciloscope

Why not just use the router alone? If you don't have adsl the modem is irrelevant

You don't have to. Just plug your ethernet cable into one of the ethernet ports.

Exactly, but I think this thread might be a wind up!

it's very simple to do that,but when u think there are only outputs and the cable is an input what makes u think ti'll work?

I think it would help you if you did some reading about ethernet switches and routers.
The ports are bi-directional.

Force the Ethernet cable into the ADSL port and talk loudly and sternly until the ADSL port lights. Then wait a couple of billion years until the ADSL and Ethernet standards evolve into a common protocol. Job done!

Certainly. They're called A and B. The signal looks like a fuzzy horizontal line on an oscilloscope.
