Thomson TG585 v7 - Can't save config

I've got two Thomson TG585 v7 (firmware 8.2.23.0), that when you finish the Set Up wizard (having selected Other ISP) it prompts for logon/password but does accept the correct credentials.

I know this is a known issue with this firmware revision and it can be corrected with at the command line using Telnet � I just need to know what the command is! Anyone know what it is please, or where I can get an updated firmware? Thanks in advance.

At the end of the web interface setup wizard it prompts for a password that it won't accept.

I was told previously this is a known issue and it can be corrected with at the command line using Telnet - something was entered at the command line that corrected the web interface problem - I can't remember what it was.

Some of these upgrades might not be for the U.K.

I've found it, so if anyone else has the issue, here is the fix:

system config disgestauth=disabled
saveall
