I should state for the record that my speed returned to normal this morning - probably after the manual kick that James gave it.
It was not anything to do with adsl24 - and appears to have been me knocking the phone connection so that the connection became poor for several hours on friday night, saturday morning - thus causing the ip profile change
i hope that was the only reason, ive not changed any equipment recently and as ive not had any problems before, fingers crossed....
that was the first ticket ive raised and adsl24 dealt with it quickly. Ive always been happy with the service and this confirms it
