The Asus RT-AX88U is a top end wifi 6 router, very highly rated on smallnetbuilder.com by forum users. I suggest you install Merlin firmware (link) on it to get the best performance.

Obviously you need wifi 6 clients as well for best performance, if you're looking to upgrade your laptop and/or desktop PCs to wifi 6 connectivity, then I highly recommend one of these cards. The downside is that they only work on x64 versions of Windows:

Already got and fitted the "Killer WiFi" cards in both my laptops ready to go WiFi 6 related fingers crossed.

A card which should fit in my laptop is reasonably priced but Wifi 6 access points are still expensive. i shall just have to be patient!

I totally agree but surly as times are moving towards greater speeds etc hopefully there should be some consumer options to choose from pretty soon at a reasonable cost.

The fact that the laptop card is not that expensive makes me think that I it can't cost much more to make a router or wifi access point that supports Wifi 6. I was hoping that there might be a reasonably priced Ubiquiti product.
