Premier Business customers?

[link to this post]

Hi

Any Premier Business customers here? (Or the product formerly known as the most expensive 20:1 business connection Plus.net sold). Any of you seeing poor speeds across all protocols during the working day? It seems even worse from about 4pm...

I have a ticket response from a few months back claiming it was "little to no" shaping on business connections. This appears to have changed drastically this year - for our connections at least.

What was once a "premium" product seems to be muddled in with the rest. If business packets get priority then I feel sorry for any residential users still hanging on, as in theory your connection will be even worse.

I think it's probably more significant that you are on PAYG than that you are on a business account.

Do you use much VPN bandwidth?

What results do you get from this test?

Was on a PN business account.

Wanted a premium product. Now I've got it. VPN works fine for me.

Get your MAC.

Yep, until two weeks ago when we left as we could stand it no more.

With Zen now and speeds are perfect (well much better than with PN at least!!!!)

3.5ms jitter, 0% drop.
I use VPN almost all the time (3 different connections).
But I couldn't tell you how much bandwidth for VPN, because we use it for everything else too.

Its the bandwidth and ms trip figures that are more telling.

Just got a MAC today for a Premier Business Account. Speeds were OK, but have dropped off significantly of late.

Off to Zen. Moved my home account a few months back.
