I'm not going to get involved in your petty games, rsharma.

We have stated that additional capacity will improve the speeds currently being seen by Broadband Plus customers. We have also stated that the network is proportioned accordingly for BB+ customers based on that they contribute towards bandwidth.

No petty games. You made a statement that no such claims were made and I have done nothing more to show that to be false.

How were PN intending to improve the service and deliver it how they were before the changes were made without additional capacity? I think we all know the answer to that one....

The additional capacity was ordered prior to the changes to BB+ so I would suggest that discussion is immaterial.

Why not take this back and forth off line into email or private messages .

In the same way as the removal of capacity was immaterial even though the supposed release by moving people to LLU was the cause for increased allowances?

PN claim that additional capacity is not the solution and yet, today, it is.

I think it's pretty obvious to most people that the increase in the trouble making post since the return of PlusNet to this forum are only designed to drive you away again.

James, how much of an impact will the new capacity improve my current BB+ speeds? Last night my speeds were as low as 37.1kbps, what are they likely to be when it improves?

I know you cannot be exact, but you must have some idea what to expect. New bandwidth wasn't ordered without due preparation and consideration after all - there is a business plan in there.

I just saw your post and to be clear, when I was typing my last message it wasn't there. I will not post further to this issue in this thread.

Going out on a limb, but it is almost impossible to quantify.

I can travel on the M25 for two weeks and average 60mph over 30miles, but this does not mean I will do the same the next day, as how other people drive and accidents can have a big effect.

In Internet terms this means you can predict but chances of being correct are slim, since you don't know if a big MS patch is on its way, or say a live concert is being streamed, or a big news story breaks and everyone is sat listening to streamed audio/video etc

The tendency is always for Internet usage to expand to fill almost any amount of capacity that is thrown at it.
