Signed up to Plusnet last week. Email should have been set up "within 30 mins". Still cannot receive email, 4 days later. Tried the online support. Was told that they are aware of the problem but don't have a fix time in other words who knows when it will be fixed? Not impressed with my first experience of PlusNet. Is this typical of PlusNet email reliability and support?

Hi there,

We had a problem with LDAP population over the bank holiday weekend that I suspect contributed to this. It should be easily fixable by our support team though.

LDAP is what exactly for us non-techie users?

And no, I don't want an explanation. I was just pointing out that to 95% at least of your customers that means nothing. That doesn't include me as I'm not a customer, but it does in that I have no idea of its meaning or relevance.
