Fao mkelly: Connection down again

My adsl service has dropped out AGAIN! It is the same issue as before. I get status connected but no ip. Can you please look at this asap.

I have a fault ref 5452962.

I have had a couple if instances where PN confirmed that everything was working fine but still no connection to the internet. Even my own router said I was connected!

It happened again today and I ran the Microsoft internet connection diagnostic via IE. After about five minutes it restored web pages and said I had had a fault with my IP routing table.

Could be worth running this little utility?

Hi Conor

I've replied to your PM. Sorry havent been on the PN board for a day or two.

Anyway I've asked Rami to take a look at this and he'll update you shortly. Looks like a recurring issue affecting the port you are on. He'll escalate and see if we can get them to look a bit deeper than they have previously.

Hi Mark

I have spoken to your colleague on the helpdesk to chase this issue. He said that the supplier had come back and advised it was fixed but when my wife rebooted the router there was still no connection.

We have now been without our connection for 5 days and are looking fo rthis to be fixed very quickly. As mentioned in my pm, my wife uses this regularly for her medical training and needs this fixed so she can continue.

I noticed you are the business services manager. Who do i need to contact in relation to residential services to register a complaint?

I have just called support to find out what is going on and after being told it was being escalated back to BT earlier today I have found out that it wasn't done. I used to think the support was good but after the problems this week my view is rapidly changing. Could a rep please call me as nothing seems to be happening.
