So many replies, so many opportunities for you to retract your statement, but you keep on trolling

At the end of the day you were wrong with your first post, why can't you just admit it and let this thread die a peaceful death. You are not adding any usefull to this thread at all,the only thing that you have said that has been on topic was not correct. We all know where you stand on the subject of using your own router ( though who knows why you care so much ),and to put it bluntly,no-one gives a monkeys.

I must say i feel we are being very harsh here on chewystuey's original answer.....

The original question was quite short and blunt (no offence to poster intended) and chewystuey replied with the correct and official answer, aimed at the majority of users of sky broadband. The user did not state they new how to get their username and password, nor whether they were willing to do this and breach the terms of their agreement.

If the user had suggested they knew they needed to flash their router etc to get their password and were asking for specific experiences, then they could have easily mentioned this in their original post, as they did not, i don't think we can expect chewystuey to admit his original post was incorrect, when it was not in the context of the original post.

My original post may have been "short and blunt",but it was not intended as a question to invoke the kind of replies that it got.

I was a simple question that I asked in hope of getting some helpfull and friendly advice, which to be fair some people have given.

Well that's not true, as I pointed out the T&Cs whereby some of you have been encouraging others to break the Terms and Conditions to which they have subscribed.

In reply to:

and to put it bluntly,no-one gives a monkeys

Well now if that were true, you wouldn't have replied would you.

Well then this thread is a little lesson in life. You can't control the answers you receive when you ask a question, and you shouldn't ask a question if you're not prepared for all the possible answers.

In reply to:

Well I wouldn't ever claim to be friendly, but helpful - well that depends on your interpretation of word. If you think that encouraging you to break the T&Cs you signed up to is helpful, well that's your choice.

I don't consider telling me things I already know,or assuming that I am encouraging people to break Sky's T & C's helpfull.

The lesson in life that I have learned from all this is that some people are so far up their own backside that they can't admit that they were wrong, but will still reply to a thread because it seems to me that they love the sight of there own replys.

Seeing as you are always trying to get the last word, you can quote me and reply to this message as much as you like my friend as I would n't want to come between you and your happiness.

Thank you and goodnight.
