I think talktalk should sent you a welcome pack with details and they should also sent you a temporary forum register to get in touch with forum staffs rather than horrible indian call centres.

I did receive a welcome pack but the problem is the forum wont accept my account details. I tried the call centre, what a nightmare that was. Totally useless.

I saw the live support link, will give it a try tomorrow. About time something like this was done as the forums seem to be the only way of getting any decent customer support. Thanks again for all your help I will let you know how I get on. Cheers

do u mean live support chat on forum ? if so, it about time they do something about it.

No not live chat on the forums just the registration page I'm afraid. Think live chat on the forum would be a big ask.

the live chat would be a great idea, why not talktalk ? if any staff from talktalk see this message, please get a live chat for new customers of try to setup talktalk and set up forum register instead of phoning up indian call centre or via site contact us which it take ages to reply and most don't reply back.

For the record I'm having the same problem, our line went live on the 14th but their site refuses the accept my customer and phone numbers. Not useful.
