I'm seeing the same. No packet loss at all, which is great.

I still want to know what's happening on their network at 2am/2pm though. I'm an IT guy, so I won't be happy until I know!

Just got a text to say sorry your connection is down. Followed the link to the status page and I see loads if 'components' are reporting as down... in fact my connection is fine ATM.
Doesn't say a great deal for their monitoring... no communication when there's an issue and communication when all is fine...

I doubt we'll ever know. Companies don't tend to share the reasons for their issues. I suspect it's a scheduled system or database backup job that's saturating the network, or maybe a rolling restart of nodes. Depending on how their network is set up, it could even be a user doing something very stupid like doing an off-premise backup.

The 2am issue was much worse this morning, with a full hour of bad pings and packet loss spiking up to 50% at one point. I'm not too concerned about the 2am one, but the 2pm issue is a bigger problem as I work from home and have standing Zoom meetings every day at that time.

I see the 2am disruption too. It was only for a brief moment though. Less than a minute. Will look for any disruption at 2pm today.

From a throughput perspective, here's the view of my connection over the past 7 days. You can see where the problems were fixed and overall is a massive improvement over what it was.

Definitely much better than it was but still disruption at 2a/2p - for me for the full hour.

I wonder whether the difference could be due to different WAN subnet....

Interesting. Whilst I don't see the packet loss to the extend you do I can confirm that things certainly get a little turbulent somewhere in the 2-3pm window. Not enough to actually impact service though. When I was measuring packet loss this morning, it was 0% across the board.

Packet loss - continually running between 13:55 and 15:05
Latency

I will feed this back to HB Support

Thanks.

I also see my wan address changed (to a different subnet) just recently (edit: to 31.214.x.x).

I wonder whether this might change things tomorrow.
(Like others, I'm also in video calls in the 2 to 3pm window so hoping so...)

Interestingly I saw absolutely nothing happening at 2am this morning. Here's hoping for 2pm...

In an email reply from them today:

"Hi xxxx,

Further changes were made in the following week, can you check if you see improvements? regarding the 2 pm latency this is a known issue and its being looked at."

I saw something but it was very quick and very minor at 02:15. It didn't last long. Not even worth mentioning.

It's all looking very good at moment.
