Hi, I recently got an email from Vergin Media telling me that they will soon change my land line over to digital and send me a connection adapter see below
We recently got in touch to let you know that your home phone will be switched to our fibre network on 25 January. We’ll send you an adapter in the post, so keep an eye out for it as you’ll need to connect your phone to your WiFi Hub to avoid any issues.
What you need to do
On 25 January, plug the adapter into Port 1 on the back of your Hub, then unplug your phone cable from the wall and plug it into the adapter. We’ll do the rest.
My question is does this constitute a change in my terms of contact and therefore allowing me to cancel my 18-month tied contract with them without a penalty payment. I'm currently paying £64 for a 1gb speed (never got 1gb most reads 965/975 mb on speed tests) so i would like to change to a cheaper provider as there are some good deals around at the moment. Many Thanks joego
