Anyway what he now suffers from vary between his hone ringing and no one there, making an outgoing call, the calling parties phone ringing but then loosing the call after speech has started.
This all happens when using the BT supplied BT Digital Voice phones. He has had his router swapped but no difference. EE's advise was to reboot the router. He has found that plugging in an old analogue phone into the rear of the router appears to work ok.
His house is of typical 1980's construction.
Previously with pstn, he used cordless phones which worked ok.
What next? Can you get a booster for Digital Voice - in the same way as you can with a wi-fi booster?
Cheers!
