I don't like talking about AOL on this forum, but just a quick line or two.
I have always said AOL customer support is carp. When I was with PN wasn't always happy with CS, but at least their response was in English. Apart from the odd hic-cup it looks like PN have improved in most areas, including CS.
I think what lets PN down ATM is their PR Dept.
Make an offer to try and get customers tied in for 12 months, nothing wrong with that, but don't dress the e-mail up to look like something it's not.

Hi there,
I'm not sure that I follow. Are you saying that if you login to webmail and try to send an email to your currently address it fails, but others work fine?
What happens if you try sending to your current address from your hotmail account?

Ah-ha, I think I know what this is (makes a change )
Within webmail go to 'Options' > 'Personal Information' and then change the email address stored in there to the one you want to use. Should fix the issue.

will try and explain, lol, sounds clear in my head but when i write it down it gets a bit muddled,
using plusnet email from your site-
if i send to my current isp's email address nothing happens, no failed message and nothing on my email server, although this could be because supanet have a really bad junk mail blocker that blocks nearly everything and wont let you even check it.
if i send to my hotmail address, the message is received, but if i reply to it , it comes backed failed delivery
if i start from scratch on either hotmail or my current isp's email address and try to send an email to my plusnet mail address it also comes up failed delivery
hope this is a bit clearer

I'll pick this up in the morning when I'm back in the office unless someone else gets there before me.
