It's interesting that your speedtest.net correctly shows the isp as "andrews & arnold".

I'm also with aaisp and it just shows as "enterprise court" on my result - strange!

I'm guessing that you are in different IP ranges and the RIPE details start with Address instead of the ISP name for your range.

Yeah, I put that there to show things weren't perfect all the time, but to be fair, congestion is very rare and it might even be from my local exchange (doubt it though as I'm in a small village).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sorry to bump this thread, but I should update this. My poor speeds were being caused by a misconfiguration at the local exchange. This problem has been on my line since my Entanet days. Back then 'James' from adsl24 and his 'account manager' at Entanet couldn't even tell me what the problem was let alone fix it. Within a day of me outlining the problem to AAisp, the problem was diagnosed and fixed. My line has been a solid 7meg every day since.

They really are a top notch team.

Sounds like Shaun is keeping his "BT-kickin-boots" tightly laced up!

In fact, last week my local exchange yet again became misconfigured, but a few emails to AAisp sorted it out. I have to wonder if they (BT) are doing it on purpose.
